Year 2 Program

Our Year 2 Program focuses on building strong foundations in Maths, Writing, Reading, and Language Conventions. The program is carefully aligned with the school curriculum, but we also introduce students to slightly advanced ideas to stretch their thinking. This way, when they encounter these concepts in class, they’ll already feel confident and familiar with them.
 
After six years of refining our approach to education, Loyola now has a program that I believe will make a real difference for the right students. Loyola’s mission is to provide excellent education because we truly believe that learning is the most powerful tool in the world … and our youngest learners deserve the very best start.
 
At the end of each term (Week 9), we conduct an exam that covers the topics learned during the term. In Week 10, we go through the exam in detail, helping students understand their performance and how they can improve. Parents also receive a clear progress report, similar to school reports, to keep track of their child’s development.
